Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington resides in the US and is a writer from Greece, a syndicated writer of columns and businesswoman. When she graduated, she made her mark as a conservative syndicated columnist and with the launch of The Huffington Post' few years later, she developed an online voice platform that gave critical opinions on the political scenario. In part, her fame led to the recruitment of a variety of renowned contributors. Arianna became famous after she decided to stand as an independent candidate in the California Recall Election in order to succeed the former governor Davis. Additionally, she led the Detroit Project to develop fuel efficient cars. Her name was voted as the most influential women in media by Forbes in 2009 and was awarded the 12th spot on this list. That same year Guardian included her in the top 100 media list. In the year 2011, AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post and made her the head of the media unit, which comprised of many existing AOL properties too such as Engadget AOL music Style list as well as Patch Media. Her parents were Elli and Konstantinos Stasinopoulos. They were who was a consultant in management as well as a journalist. They were very close to her father. But it was her relationship with her mother who formed her. Even as a young girl she demonstrated leadership skills which she is still renowned for.
