Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington, a Greek American businesswoman and syndicated journalist is an author. She co-founded The Huffington Post the founder and CEO of Thrive Global and the author of fifteen books. Arianna Huffington is an author TV personality, philanthropist, and the owner of the independent liberal online news magazine The Huffington Post. Born in Greece then moved to England at the age of sixteen. In Cambridge University, she graduated with an MA in economics. The first ever foreign-born student to be elected president in the prestigious debate group The Cambridge Union, at 21, she was able to take over the presidency. The success of her conservative columnist was consolidated after she graduated. After the launch of The Huffington Post a few year later, she established an online voice-portal that provided an honest assessment of the current politics. The celebrity she enjoyed helped her to convince several celebrities to contribute their opinion about current affairs, culture and politics. Arianna gained fame in 2003 after she decided to run as an independent candidate for the California recall vote to succeed the Governor Davis. Apart from this she also was the leader of a Detroit project to promote vehicles that are fuel efficient. In 2009 she was recognized by Forbes as The most influential female media personality, taking the 12th position in the list and in the same year Guardian included her in the top 100 media list. In 2011 AOL Inc. bought The Huffington Post and made the president of that media company, which also included a number of then-existing AOL properties too such as Engadget AOL music Style list and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos is the daughter born to Konstantinos a management advisor and a journalist. While she was close with her father, the relationship she had to her mom was the defining factor in the remainder of her life. She displayed leadership qualities from the beginning. At the age of 16 the girl moved to England in the United Kingdom for her higher education. In Girton College Cambridge. She enrolled in Cambridge Union, the Cambridge Union college debate society while in college in which she became the first woman to hold the position of president. In 1972, she graduated with the degree of Master's in Economics. After graduation, she began working as a critic for a newspaper column and an anchor on TV. She appeared alongside Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she started writing her own novels with his assistance.
